Homart invited to attend the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan Government and Business Overseas Chinese New Year Dinner

In order to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Australian Sydney government and Chinese businesses overseas held many grand Spring Festival Dinners. Homart Pharmaceuticals was invited to share in the joy. These Spring Festival Dinners included Chinese Consul General in Sydney Mr. Jielong DUAN held a celebration of Chinese New Pear in the Consulate General of the Republic of China in the Sydney Ballroom on February 3, 2013. There was also a Chinese New Year gathering organised by Mr. Steve Barclay-the Director of the Hong Kong SAR Government Economic and Trade Office in Sydney on February 19, 2013 in Jones Bay Wharf (Jones Bay Wharf) in Sydney; Taipei Economic and Cultural Office Director Mr. Zhou Jinfa and Australia remain jointly organized by the Alumni Association, Mr. Huannan HUANG held the celebrate to the Chinese New Year Gala in Maxim’s Chinese Restaurant in Sydney on February 9.

For the Chinese New Year of the Consulate General in Sydney conference, the museum was decorated, beautiful and beaming. The conference began from the Australia Chaozhou Natives lion dance, accompanied with its colours gold, silver, red and orange. The honorary guests included: Chinese Consul General in Sydney Jielong DUAN and his wife, renowned Australian community leaders Mr. Zhou Guangming and Australian Sydney media representatives, as well as more than 600 people to celebrate the festive season. Consul General Mr. Jielong DUAN gave a special speech in praise of the new state of Overseas Chinese over the years in their promotion of Australian local economic development, social progress, multicultural prosperity, promoting the friendly exchange and cooperation with Australians, as well as their care for and support of the development of nation-building efforts and contributions. Mr. Jielong DUAN also spoke in addition to the toast, and congratulated the participants, wishing that they will have good health, family and beauty, and a prosperous Year of the Snake.

The New Year’s greeting from the Sydney office of the Economic and Trade affair of HK Special Administrative Region is conducted by the Department of Economics and Trade, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Australian Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Investment Hong Kong. The attending guests included Mr. Steven Barclay (CP of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Sydney), Mr. Victor Dominello (Director of Australian citizen and Community), Mr John Roberson (Party Leader of Australian Opposition), Mr. Kan Liu (Deputy Consul General of Consulate General of the Republic of China in Sydney), and more than 500 guests from Politics, Business, Arts and Sports sectors. All together, they came to celebrate this forthcoming Chinese New Year at Doltone House in Pyrmont.

This Chinese New Year Evening was hosted by the Australia remain Alumni Association and assisted by Sydney Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and assorted Chinese Communities in Sydney. This Evening was held on the 9th of Feb, the day of the last day on the lunar Calender. The Federal Councillor and Members of NSW attended this celebration. Special guest that attended the evening included: Chris Hayes, the Congressman of Australian Federal Parliament Chairman of the Taiwan Friendship Group, Mr Matt Thistlethwaite, the senator of NSW, Mr. John Robertson, the party leader of Australian Opposition, Mr. Daryl Maguire, NSW Government Party whip, Glenn Brookes, the multicultural director, Hon. David Clarke, Parliament Secretary long, MLC, MP-Mr. Charles Casuscelli, Mr. Andrew Cornwell, Mr. Mark Coure, Mr David Elliott, Mr. Ross Maddock, Chairman of Taiwan and Macau Trade and Industry Committee and 700 other guests. During the convention, the hosts honoured Homart Pharmaceuticals Pty. Ltd by showing its gratitude for having supported and sponsored this crucial event.
