Homart Pharmaceuticals has officially signed a Long-term Academic Research Program with the National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM), after several discussion forum seminars and preparations between the two parties. The NICM will launch a series of academic research papers on Australia and Australian only natural health raw materials such as Australian propolis. Utilising the results of this academic research, Homart will further develop their products and technologies involving Australian Propolis and its related products. Meanwhile the academic research by the NICM will reach new horizons with the help and support from Australia’s most famous top quality health food and skin care brand Homart Pharmaceuticals.
The NICM was founded in 2003 by many professional researchers, and devotes its endeavours in the research and development of national Australian health foods, releasing and publishing its findings in the health foods market. This official signing between Homart and the NICM marks the commencement of an academic collaboration which blends both business and academic organizations. Homart Pharmaceuticals Managing Director – Ms Lynn YEH and Operations Director Mr. Jeffrey have engaged themselves periodically in the NICM discussions and meetings, learning the intricacies of the research. Both of them were led by researcher Joanne PACKER to visit the advanced laboratory facilities to witness the multiple ongoing projects conducted by the institute. Professor Alan BENSOUSSAN, the Director of the NICM, stated that the very first main research project of the NICM would be Homart’s famous propolis products, using the most modern and advanced machines for analysis. The NICM will provide Homart with the most detailed reports for their continued product development.
