Homart Group, a Sydney-based health and wellness company, has completed the acquisition of Australian magnesium wellness brand Salt Lab. The transaction strengthens Homart’s position in the health sector and expands its presence into precision wellness and personal care.

Guided by its philosophy of “minimalist, clean and verifiable,” Salt Lab specialises in magnesium-based wellness products. Addressing everyday lifestyle concerns such as sleep disturbance and muscle discomfort, the brand has developed a product portfolio spanning whole-body care and daily wellbeing. Known for its naturally derived formulations, Salt Lab is a leading online magnesium wellness brand in Australia and New Zealand, with a strong presence on Amazon and retail distribution through Nordstrom. The brand also maintains a commitment to sustainability.
This acquisition represents another significant milestone in Homart Group’s brand expansion, following its acquisitions of the 75-year-old Thompson’s and the 50-year-old Thursday Plantation in 2024. Leveraging Homart’s strengths in research and development, supply chain and global distribution channels, Salt Lab will accelerate its international expansion. Its strong online sales capability, expertise in the magnesium segment and engagement with younger consumers will further support Homart’s precision mind-and-body wellness strategy and long-term growth.
Homart Group is scheduled to list on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in May this year. The addition of Salt Lab will enhance the Group’s overall product portfolio, strengthen e-commerce capability and engagement with younger consumers, and support long-term growth.
Homart Group CEO Lynn Yeh said:
“Salt Lab’s brand philosophy is closely aligned with Homart’s mission. By leveraging the Group’s capabilities, we will advance product development and expand global market reach. We believe the upcoming listing will bring further opportunities to all our brands.”
