To celebrate the Chinese spring festival, Homart Pharmaceuticals was recently invited to attend the China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan political and business dinner. This festival was hosted to celebrate the Lunar new year and to look forward into 2014.
The Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Sydney was one of the hosts of the spring festival reception at the Chinese consulate in Sydney. More than one hundred overseas important Chinese businessmen gathered together to celebrate the new year of the Horse. The festival was opened by the traditional three lion dances, held in front of the Consulate of the People’s Republic of China. With the powerful sounds of the cymbals and drums, the lion dance added an atmosphere of joy to this reception dinner. The guests who attended this dinner included: Chaoxu MA-Chinese Ambassador to Australia, Marie BASHIR-NSW governor-general, Representative of the NSW Governor, Victor DOMINELLO-Member of Ryde, Michael GALLACHER- Legislative Council Minister for Police and Emergency Services, as well as other State Councillors, mayors and City Councillors. LI Hua-Xin- Consul General of the People’s Republic of China, also sent his blessings to the spring festival and made a speech commemorating the contributions that NSW Chinese overseas people and businessmen have made for the development of local economics, society prosperity, Multicultural prosperity as well as their contributions to the mutual respect and cooperation of China and Australia for so many years.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Sydney Office celebrated the new year of the horse with more than 100 guests from business, entertainment, sports and political areas. This spring cocktail party was hosted by The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Hong Kong Tourism board, Investment Hong Kong, and the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. The sponsors warmly invited the Hong Kong “All Theater” artists to perform in the spring cocktail party in Australia, utilizing their sand painting skills to demonstrate the symbolic tourist attractions of Hong Kong. This performance brought the audience great joy and fun, demonstrating the colourful international metropolitan city in Asia, as well as sending thei audience members their best wishes for the new year.
Hosted by the Australian Taiwan alumni association, sponsored by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and other important and big Taiwan National communities, the Spring festival and new year party was held at the Meixin hotel at Bankstown in Western Sydney. All the Australian politicians and government officers, as well as representatives of the Australian Chinese population all attended this big party to celebrate the new year. The atmosphere was filled with great joy. Many important Australia governors attended this party including: Chris HAYES-Chief opposition of Whip of Australia Labour Party, David CLARKE- member of the New South Wales Legislative Council representing the Liberal Party of Australia, Fred NILE -Assistant President of the Legislative Council and many other NSW parliament members. There were many brilliant and splendid dancing and singings shows. Homart Pharmaceuticals also provided plenty of lucky draw games, which heightened the sense of celebration and festivities. All the guests were happily embracing the new year.
