Homart Pharmaceuticals was recently invited to attend the 18th COSMOPROF Asia Hong Kong Exhibition. This grand exhibition was held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition centre from the 13th of November to the 15th of November, 2013. At this event, there were more than 2168 well-known international exhibitors from more than 43 countries, double the number of participants in comparison to last year. As a result of this larger scale event, the exhibition area was expanded to 76,000 square metres. The strong turnout is indicative of the importance of the show for the region, and of the Asian cosmetics market to brands and suppliers from all over the world.”
With an already impressive visitor number last year, this year’s 18th COSMOPROF Asia attracted more than 55,000 visitors and over 2,000 different enterprises in the beauty and health food industry. With such a large number of participants, there was a comprehensive showcase of innovative products encompassing areas such as cosmetics, personal and health care, wellness, packaging and contract manufacturing. The exhibitors from Asia, Europe, America and Australia, to name a few, upheld the international image of COSMOPROF, acknowledging its prominent and vital position as one of the largest beauty and health care events in the calendar, as well as its position as the best unified platform in Asia. As well as this, this year’s internal buyer program also paid close attention to new emerging markets and identified the Middle Eastern countries as ones to focus on for the future. This reinforced Homart Pharmaceutical’s decision made earlier to lock on to the Middle Eastern market, and has already confirmed to attend the 2014 Dubai Biotech Exhibition at the beginning of 2014. This signifies Homart’s next steps, officially entering the new up and coming international Middle Eastern market.
